Hello, I’m Stacey O’Nary. People often ask if that’s my real name — it’s half real. I’m an NYC-based artist, designer, illustrator, creative director, entrepreneur, and lifelong maker of things.

For years, I’ve put my creativity to work on branding and design projects, from boutique brands to national nonprofits and beyond. I’ve always found ways to bring warmth, humor, and a little bit of real life into my work — and Stacey O’Nary is where all of those ideas finally get to come out and play.

My cards are inspired by the day-to-day — cats, tea, Mahjong, family stories, and the strange little moments that somehow become meaningful.

I design and illustrate cards for birthdays, aging, love, friendship, holidays, life’s harder moments, and the in-between occasions too — like half birthdays.

Basically, real life, but illustrated.
